Duh…dum… Duh… dum! Duh…DUM!

Jaws probably doesn't smile this much...

What does that sound like?

No! Not nothing! It’s the infamous Jaws theme song! Right…

This week in Albuquerque, you can get up close and (well, not too close and definitely not too) personal with a Jaws of your own during Shark Week in Albuquerque.

Until Saturday, August 7, 2010, Albuquerque Aquarium at Rio Grande Botanic Garden is hosting Shark Week. Learn about different types of sharks, how they eat, and what they eat, among many other interesting facts from knowledgeable aquarium volunteers.

Daily shark presentations will be held, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Admission to Rio Grande Botanic Garden & Aquarium is only $7 for ages 13-64 with children under 2, are admitted to the aquarium for free.

If you’ve never been to the Albuquerque Aquarium at Rio Grande Botanic Garden, now is a great time to go! The Aquarium is located just over 10 miles from your Suncreek Village apartment home.

If you’d really rather just stay home and watch the shark action on television, Discovery Channel’s Shark Week is also underway, airing on Comcast channel 54.
